The curious incident of the dog in the night-time
First of all, I'm sorry about my english, it isn't so good.
This book (the curious incident of the dog in the night-time) is a terrific novel. All the journals in the world talk about this Mark Haddon's novel, because it isn't as a simple novel. It talk about an Asperger's child and how he has to manage his life to reach his objetives. It's very easy to read and the vocabulary is easy too. So, if you have any time, I recommend you this great book.
My mark is 9
bye

Very good recommendation, Tanger.
The story is bittersweet: sometimes it´s quite funny, and then it turns sad... but it´s a beautiful book.
Although I read it in Spanish, I think it should not be difficult to understand in English, because it´s written in a simple language, just like a kid should talk.

Oh, what a nice book ! I´ve only read some pages, but it seems very original. I like the lenguage that he use. The way to write. Speaking and thinking like a young boy.
There is a spanish writer, Fina Casalderrey. Anybody knows her?. She writes in this way too; speaking like a young girl should do it. I read in under ground and I´m smiling Well, this is a difficult job for me. I don´t understand some words and when I arrive home I must look at the dictionary. It´s a hard job but I remember English. I like my new job!

What a beautiful book! I´m enjoying very much. For one moment, it makes me feel sad (when he speaks about his mom) and a little later, I´m laughing alone in the underground. What a shame!. It´s curious; the spanish writer Fina Casalderrey, that makes me remember Mark Haddon, speaks too in her book "El estanque de los patos pobres" about the girl´s grandfather´s death.
I like this writer and this book. I continue reading.

Hi everybody!!!
I´m trying to improve my english because i want to pass the Advanced Certificate in English. i know that one of the best ways to do it is to read in english. That´s not a problem for me ´cause i love reading, but to read in english... that´s something different. When i read what you´d said about this book i went to the nearest bookstore and bought it.
I´ve started to read it (i´ve read only 15 pages) and it´s being fantastic! The vocabulary is easy to understand and the thoghts of the little boy are so tender!!!
Thank you for your recommendation!!

I quite agree with you all. I loved the novel. It's really interesting, strangely structured but atractive at the same time. When you read the story it moves you so much, as if you were in a rollercoaster. You can feel the ups and downs of the boy.
It's a really sweet novel, and I don't think it's hard to read at all, because of the language of the boy, simple and easy.
Go for it!

Hi, everyforeros!
I had read this book recently and I had enjoy it a lot.
Wen I was reading it, i was remembering the "Forrest Gump" film. Don't you?
