last book you've read or you're reading

Mensaje por LauraCo »

First of all, I'm sorry if my english isn't so good.

Well, talking about books now I'm reading this one:

A tale of two sisters - Gabrielle Mullarkey
41JPV7VC1SL._SL500_AA300_.jpg
Summary:

"Flick hates Katie, her sister. Flick even hates Dan, her own husband. But Katie - Katie tries to love everyone; her boyfriend his father Freddy, her devious sister. Katie even tried to love Dan once. That's the problem...

If Flick hadn't been so mean to Katie, humiliating her at every turn, Katie never would have entertained the idea for a minute. But as Katie's mother might say, it only takes a minute. And it did...

Now Katie has to decide. Between the sister who hates her, the man who loves her and a night she can barely remember."

I've been reading few pages and I'm interested in what will happen with both sisters :P

So, what about you? :D

The last books I've read in English are London and Sarum by Edward Rutherfurd. I've also Russka at home but I'll leave it until next year. :D

I'm currently reading King Rat by China Miéville. I've only read about 50 page yet, but so far it looks very promising.

I'm reading The Way of Shadows, by Brent Weeks. I've only read 6 chapters, but I find it very interesting, with good characters (for the moment  ). I hope it's something different from the typical fantasy story.

It's a very amazing story about a Girl, who, after an accident, she will lose the memory more and more. Like an Alzheimer. And startes to write a Diary and doing things before she forget...

Melissa Hill is Irish, and writes style is like Marian Keyes :D

Hi,

Actually I am reading "Iceberg" of Clive Cussler. It is not bored at all, and really to read it in English is not being so hard as I was supposed.

Thanks a lot Felicity.

I bought it only to read it in on the plane. I used to buy books in English only about World War II or historical ones. This is my first serious contact with a novel and first I was scared about possible descriptions or things like that I could miss.

jaja,

Yes , that was my first thought when I saw the book... It was in a sunny morning on a secondhand book market here at Market Square.

The true is I can not leave it now, and I have gave up the others I was reading first.
