Sometimes I talk about films or literature with my math teacher and a few days ago he recommended me a Bergen Evans's book, The Natural History of Nonsense. I found it online and read a couple of pages, but this morning, in calculus class, he lent me his copy. It is very pretty and old, with an illustration on the cover by André François, one of my favorite illustrators. I saw it on google images (even added the cover on goodreads) and thought it was awesome and now it's in my hands! What a coincidence, uh?

Seems like this book was made for me, ha. I'll read it when I finish what I'm reading now. :08:

In English, that would be "The Crying of Lot 49" by Thomas Pynchon.

Had huge expectations but I was deeply disappointed. I found Pynchon to be a Vonnegut kind of writer, but without his sharp irony and humor.

Thanks a lot! :60:

I’m reading Home Remedies, by Xuan Juliana Wang.
Twelve stories about Chinese people around the world. So far they’re hard stories of different stages of life. The first one includes some Magic Realism, so I expect to find more of that.

I’ve also been reading the Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine. I’ll quit on them soon because I just can’t stand them. :cunao:
